Hello Marlin Families,

If your swimmer is signed up for the 9-18 invitational this Saturday June 6th, the Meet Program is now available (attached). It is also listed under the event in Swimtopia, and online at the SAAA website. Please be sure to bring a copy with you if you'd like one - they will not have printed versions available at the meet. 

Tip: Swimmers for this meet are listed in order of their entry time. A search in the PDF file for your swimmer's name will help to find their events before printing and save time!

Important information about the Invitational

Where: Oro Valley Aquatic Center, 23 W. Calle Concordia

Time: CT warmups begin at 7AM and are limited to 30 minutes. Please arrive early with ample time for parking and meeting up with the team prior to the warmup. Team tents are typically located in the grass on the south side of the pool complex near the gate. Look for the CT banner!

The event will begin at 7:45AM.

Other important things to know:

• Overflow parking is available at Canyon del Oro High School.
• Pool restrooms are for swimmers only. Parent / spectator restrooms are available in the park on the north side of the facility.
• There will be no concessions / snack bar. Please bring everything you need to stay well fed and hydrated throughout the day. CT will provide team shade tents, but families, please bring your own seating.

Volunteers:

CT has been asked to provide the following volunteers - please sign up if you can help, we need to fill these roles! Signup is now available in Swimtopia. ALL volunteers must check in by no later than 7:15AM - even if you are working a later shift. Please arrive in time to check in! ALL timers must attend training at 7:20AM. Thank you!

• Timers for Lane 2: We are looking for 4 total timers to work in 2 shifts throughout the event. 
• Meet Marshal: Manage access to the swimmer area. We are looking for 2 volunteers to work in shifts throughout the event.
• Officials: We are looking for a minimum of 2 officials, however if there are more we can provide shifts. If you have trained as an official but do not see this role available to you in Swimtopia, please contact [email protected] to sign up.
• Shade tents: This role takes place on FRIDAY. We will need families to help bring our shade tents to Oro Valley and get them set up. We will also need support taking the tents down and returning them to CT at the end of the meet on SATURDAY. Please contact Team Manager Fred directly to set up a time to help with tents - [email protected] or 802-233-1884
